Arrival on Sunday

Arrival Sunday between 15:00 to 18:00.

19:00 - 20:00: Dinner

20:30 - 21:00: Information meeting in the sportshall

21:00 - 24:00: Salsa and Bachata social dancing

Classes from Monday to Friday

*Monday afternoon, you will have the opportunity to buy some dance shoes*

In the evening there is more dance, where we make the sports hall, into a Salsa, Bachata and latin Discotek, so everyone can train what they have learned during the day, dance a lot of social and have fun together. We have a nice, cheap bar.

08:15 - 09:15: Breakfast buffet

09:30 - 09:45: Morning meeting (in the hall)

09:45 - 11:30: Salsa Classes (If you only like to take Afro and Rumba, you do not have to take part of this morning classes, but you need to put it in the form when you sign up)

11:30 - 11:45: Break (fruit and juice)

11:45 - 13:00: Cuban Salsa Classes and a bit of Rueda de Casino (If you only like to take Afro and Rumba classes, you do not have to take part of this morning classes, but you need to put it in the form when you sign up)

13:00 - 13:30: Lunch buffet

13:30 - 15:30: Relaxation (take a trip to the beach, get a massage or a walk in the beatiful forest)

15:30 - 16:00: Coffee and cake

14:00-15:00 Afro Cuban and Rumba song class

15:00-16:00 Afro Cuban and Rumba classes with live music

16:00 - 18:00: Workshops. Choose between Son, Salsa Men/Lady Styling, Bachata, Reggaetón, Rumba, Afro Cuban dance

18:10 - 19:10: The swimming pool is open

17:30 - 01:00: The bar is open

19:30 - 20:30: Dinner buffet

20:30-21:30: Several lectures, in Cuban dances and music.

21:00 - 01:00: Salsa Social dancing (big party night Friday until ( 03:00)

22:00-23:00: Animation, dance shows or live music with the Cubans

21:00 - 01:00: Salsa Social dancing (big party night Friday until ( 03:00)

Salsa Camp party Friday, July 29th, 2022

We end the last day with a big party with live music. Program and links for registration will come up later.

This event is open for everyone. The party is included in the price for the Salsa Camp participants.

Guests that do not participate in the camp, can sign up for dinner and party, with or without accommodation. We recommend purchasing your ticket well in advance. There is a limited amount of tickets and it's first come first serve.

Saturday is the departure day

09:00 - 11:00: Breakfast/ brunch

10:00 - 11:00: Check-out from the rooms, you need to make shure your room is clean, and you have to leve your key at the entrence to bosei, it cost you 500 DKK if you forget it.

THE CLASSES

The classes are very intensive. Besides Salsa in the morning, we also offer a lot of Reggaetón, Bachata, Son, Afro-Cuban dance and Rumba, which can be chosen in the afternoon, if you have energy for more dancing.

NEW OPTION: We have expanded the program with 4 hours daily classes and workshops of Afro Cuban Dance & Rumba. You can sign up for this part only, without participating in the morning Salsa classes, if you do not like to dance Salsa.

The Salsa participants people, can still take part I the Afro Cuban & Rumba classes and workshops in the afternoon.You need to answer in the sign up form if you are ONLY going to participate in Afro Cuban Dance & Rumba classes between 14.00 and 18.00.

You can register for the Camp without a sign-up partner or with a sign-up partner

Discount: If you want to obtain a discount, then you need to find a sign-up partner of the opposite sex. You can try to find a friend or someone from your network who would like to participate (the person does not need to be on the same dance level as you or someone you live with, and you sign up individually). The discount will be refunded to your card shortly before the course starts. The sign-up partner needs to sign up at the latest 48 hours after you have signed up in order for both of you to get the discount.

We always strive to get the amount of men and women to be equal, and it usually ends up fitting well. If you already dance, you can ask one from your dance class or your network, if the Salsa Summer Camp could be something for them.

To all of you that already dances a lot, our fantastic teachers always have a lot of new moves and techniques to offer. The classes are very inspiring, fun and educational.

Accommodation at Bosei

The Salsa Camp will be held one hour drive from Copenhagen, at the beautiful Idrætshøjskolen Bosei, Evensølundvej 5, 4720 Præstø

We found this fantastic high school, with great surroundings and with the most beautiful facilities. Last year was our first year here and all the students were super happy with the place!

We have previously held the camp at Møn Friskole, Rødkilde Theather High School, and a single year at Langebæk Course and Retreat Center - so we have been around a lot. But this new place is definitely the best place to date.

Facilities at Bosei

The main building was originally a sanatorium, and since they have expanded with Japanese-inspired buildings.

There is a swimming hall, workout center, several activities- and sports rooms, and a fantastic natural environment. There is also a Japanese library, creative workshop, music room and much more. Around the buildings, there is woods, a soccer field, tennis courts and more. It is not far away from the ocean, so it is possible to also take a beach trip.

As a participant, you can make use of all the facilities without extra charge.

Rooms

There is room for over 200 participants that can stay at Bosei. There are 90 double rooms, together with 20 tent spots (not big family tents).

Every year we have 30% couples and 70% singles from all over the country, and the rest of Scandinavia, and a few from the rest of Europa, that participate in our fantastic salsa camp.
