Kizomba: Kizomba is a social dance dating back to the 1980s. Kizomba is a close couple dance and is slower than both Salsa and Bachata. It is carried by the man in a closed, perpendicular grip and the basic steps consist of steps from side to side.
Kizomba as a style originally from Angola in Africa. It is not a Latin American dance, but has spread throughout Europe throughout the years and has now become a major part of the salsa family. Kizomba means "party" at Kimbundu, which is a language spoken in Angola.
