Frequently asked questions

1. Where do the classes take place?

We have many classes and therefore the classes take place on both Nørrebro (the premises are very close to each other), Østerbro, Vesterbro and Holmen. You can see an overview of all the premises here.

2. Is there a dress code?

No there is no dress code, you can come in the clothes and shoes you want. However, we have some recommendations for a couple of our classes:

For Twerk, we recommend lose pants/shorts and comfortable shoes. If you have knee protectors you may take them along.

For Burlesque it is up to you whether you want to dance in high heels or socks / soft shoes. We recommend tight clothes.

For belly dancing, we recommend that you take a belly button belt (one with coins is best, alternatively a normal scarf can also be used). Normally we dance in bare feet or socks.

For Salsa and Bachata, we recommend soft shoes that you can easily turn in. Most people come in their normal everyday clothes (not workout clothes).

3. How do the trial classes work? / How do I book a trial class?

You can buy a trial class if you want to try a dance class before deciding whether to go to the class. You can read more about trial classes here.

4. If I book a trial class, am I going to pay again if I subscribe?

Yes, if you sign up for a class after your trial, you will pay for the remaining period.

5. How much are the classes?

We have some of Copenhagen's cheapest dance school prices. Our children's classes cost 120-240 DKK per month depending on the minute/length of the class. Our adult classes the price match the costs of 60 DKK per class.

You can start whenever you want, even if the period is started. You only pay for the remaining weeks during the active period. We have a period start 5 times a year.

6. How do I pay?

When you sign up for a class you pay for the class at the same time - the price is listed under each class.

We have a fixed monthly payment for our children classes, and you sign up for payment when you sign up for a class - the price is listed under each class.

You can also sign up for more classes at once and get a discount.

7. How do I sign up?

You sign up for a class by pressing the subscribe button for the class you want to sign up for. You can see an overview of all our classes on the page Classes.

If it's the first time you sign up, you'll need to create a profile to sign up for the classes. We are a dance association and therefore have a yearly membership fee of 100 DKK, which is added to the prize the first time you sign up for a class.

We have open registration for all our classes so you can start whenever you want.

8. Can I be late for a class?

We encourage you not to be late, as it interferes with the teaching.
